Mark Crabtree MS, ATC, CSCS, FMSC
Mark Crabtree is the Founder and President of Ignite Fitness Inc. Mark has been in the fitness business for more than 20 years. Mark is a Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Certified with the Functional Movement Screen. Mark and his training methods have been featured in Womens Health Magazine, Fitfluential, WGN Morning News, CLTV, ESPN 1000, Chicago Tribune and Suburban Life Newspaper.
As a Coach, I've trained the best of the best. I've worked with athletes from the Texas Rangers, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, over 30 individual minor league athletes, D1 Athletes, and countless elite high school athletes. For 13 years I was the Director of Sports Performance at the Bulls Sox Training Academy. I trained over 3000 athletes during that time and I can count on one hand the number who requested a refund due to being unsatisfied with the training- 2.
In 2004 I was asked to apply for the White Sox Strength Coach position. I declined due to the amount of travel involved.
Lately, my attention has moved away from training athletes and focusing on fitness for everyone. On a daily basis I meet with people who are ready to give up their fitness goals due to poor training programs, poor instruction and little to no education on what it takes to change your body. With 18 years of coaching experience I've got a system of training that gets results. No guesswork, no random programs or "workouts of the day". Scientific, time tested programs that get your body to change fast. My goal is to help each of our members achieve their goals of looking better, feeling better and moving better.
My passion is to providing training that gets results, is sustainable and makes people feel good about themselves.Fitness should be a positive part of your life not make you miserable, take up all you time or be something you dread. Fitness is more than just exercises. Fitness is about the journey to your best self. Fitness builds strength, both physical and mental. Improves your outlook on life, and makes you a more positive person.
